Poker is one of the most popular card games in the world. In Poker, the best combination of at most five cards from a total of seven cards wins. Well-known possible combinations, or hands as they are called, include ‘Straight Flush’, ‘Three of a Kind’ and ‘Full House’. If your combination of cards, in other words your hand, is better than the hands held by the other players around the table, you win the pot (i.e. the total bets put into the pot by the other players and yourself).
